  For my final I wanted to do research on how Political figures use the media to influence the citizens and people of the world as well as how people use the media to shape and influence political figures. First I thought that this was only going to be citizens of the United States but I realized that our political figures also influence people from other areas. A prime example of this is the war/conflict the United States is with Israel.  I used social media as my main source of information and research because of its large increase of popularity. TikTok currently has 1.9 Billion active users globally, and in the United States it has 135.79 billion active users. It has increased over 42% in the past year and is the 5th most used social media.   Trailer The Housemaid      My biggest reason for choosing The Housemaid directed by Paul Feig is because its the only movie I have seen that has come out in the past two months. I have seen other movies that came out recently however this is the most recent one.
